Hello from AnamCara! We are in the northern Abacos and when the weather permits we plan to take a long sail to South Carolina or North Carolina depending on the winds. We are looking forward to the cheaper prices in the states. Gas here costs 5$ per gallon. Yikes. We hope all is well with you and love getting your e-mails.  Posted by Picasa

Are you tired of sunset pictures yet? We aren't tired of seeing them. This picture is taken near Manjack Cay in the Abacos. Posted by Picasa

Kicking back on the boom. Nice view. Posted by Picasa

This day was one of the best days of our trip. It was a beautiful sunny day. We rode our bikes to a nearby beach, planned a picnic, some swimming, and a very nice relaxing day. It was wonderful. Posted by Picasa

Here we are hanging out in our lean-to on the beach. We enjoyed spending time with Tom and Amy. Posted by Picasa

In the northern part of the Eleuthra's, there is a small cay and the only thing on it are these beautiful "ruins". They are now being rebuilt and landscaped. There is a main house, two guest houses, a home for the staff, several garages.... but this island is so small you can walk it from end to end in half an hour. There used to be an orchard and a small landing strip. It was and will be gorgeous. Posted by Picasa

In the Eleuthra's, we pause for a moment to enjoy a small rain shower off in the distance. Posted by Picasa

On a nice calm day, this 4 ft. Barracuda circles our boat and smiles at us menacingly.  Posted by Picasa

Don, who hates Barracuda's, looks right, then left, then decides it is safe for the moment. Posted by Picasa

We have been traveling with Tom and Amy aboard DreamCatcher. They feed us all the fish they catch because our fishing skills are lacking. In return we are their Ciguatera testers. (Ciguatera is a poisoning found in some fish in the Bahamas, primarily large fish that eat smaller fish, that eat the little critters growing on the reef.) Posted by Picasa

On our last day in Georgetown, we took a walk with the dogs. They were so excited they jumped in early and swam to shore. Posted by Picasa

Buddha takes his revenge on crabs of a smaller variety. The big one (next picture) scared him a bit. Posted by Picasa

We saw this monster as we crossed to the ocean side. He was as big as Pebbles. (the dog)  Posted by Picasa
