Christmas Wishes

Twas two weeks before Christmas an all through the boat, not a creature is cold and we're still afloat. No Christmas shopping this year, no hustle or bustle... or cold weather gear, just hanging at the "Chat & Chill" with a Kalik Beer. Plenty of sun, fresh seafood and rum, livin life like a beach bum. The islands are beautiful, beyond compare, got salt on our skin and bushy hair.
We miss all of our friends and family too, but we'll be living it up at the Bahamian Junkanoo!!
God bless and Happy Holidays to all!!!

Love,
Santa Sandi & Dancer Don

Merry Christmas to family and friends. We love and miss you all. Posted by Picasa

Thanks to Tim and Mary for bringing a little bit of home to the islands. The hardest part about being here is missing our friends and having you here helped fill that void.... but also makes us want to come home! We love you guys!!!! Posted by Picasa

Monty at the wheel. The poor guy had a rough week with us and we didn't get him to Georgetown on time for his flight but we had a great time with him and hope he'll be back with better weather. Posted by Picasa

One of the islands we stopped on was previously owned by a drug lord. He paved some of the island and built in a landing strip. There is a plane in the harbour that was shot down. We had a wonderful time there. This path leads to the airstrip and then the beach on the other side of the island. Posted by Picasa

Our dinghy is inadequate... nobody likes and inadequate dinghy. The tube separated comopletely from the transom. This repair was nothing compared to the repair we had to make after breaking our steering cable.  Posted by Picasa

One of many beautiful sunsets we enjoyed. Posted by Picasa

Monty joined us in Nassau and during the one or two days of good weather we had... he may have gotten a tan. The poor guy got stuck with us during a pretty bad weather week. Atleast he got a lot of reading done. Posted by Picasa

The sail from Nassau to Georgetown was beautiful. We even had dolphins swimming off of our bow. Posted by Picasa
